  Graffiti is a powerful inspiration that people can see all over the world but it is illegal because people do not like how it  was written on there walls and on their shops. Some people thought that graffiti had brung violence to the street by the color, shapes and destroying their properties. Most of the gang turned graffiti into fighting over territory in the neighborhood. According to the government “graffiti had made the gang violence higher back in the 1980 so they had to stop graffiti before more people started dying like, little kids; teenagers and non gang violence adults”. But graffiti is not for gang violence it for people who want to express their feelings to the world. Graffiti started around the 1960 it was named after italian word graffito. There's a lot of graffiti artists like Banksy, Demetric and Sam. Graffiti is all over the world. It’s in New York, China, London….etc. Graffiti had became a fashion icon it is now shown on t-shirt, jackets,  

    

What is graffiti?Graffiti is an type of art that express people feeling. so they draw it with spray paint. people should have the right to graffiti but it illegal. The reason why graffiti is illegal because “it bring violence” said the new york time report . It is also trusted passing. in the new york time report it says “ if you don’t have permission to write or paint it is a crime”. eventhough it a crime but to graffiti artists it become a home for them”. said in the miami herald , adapted by newsela staff on 02.11.14 word count 659. graffiti had changed a lot of  people life because of great artists so  people should stop trying to keep graffiti illegal  and start trying to make it legal.   

graffiti has positive and negative effects.One positive effect is people can walk around the city and think that is nice,people ask what is that  or that art make me feel happy. one of the biggest state that is known for its  graffiti is new york city people can come and look at our graffiti which we call it art and say this country is trying to make a change.a great graffiti artists by the name of Banksy.  Banksy said “The key to making great art is all in the composition”. Banksy also said “If graffiti changed anything it would be illegal”.    

     With  extensive research graffiti can be  a positive or negative thing because it ¨does inspire people It also can make the Gowanus canal look better¨ said Devin rivera. ¨but it also bring bad thing to our environment¨ said Armando xique like gang violence. graffiti also can show how a person express their personality. also “graffiti can show how if one person does not follow the law that mean everyone does not have to follow the law and no one is above the law”. said by anthony didier the way people can try to make a change is when people  should have permission. Also “making graffiti legal has helped Bogota become a safer city that people now want to visit” said Miami herald.” In the new york times it says that u need permission to write or paint graffiti”. This is how we can deal with graffiti and it problems.
